Meet Alexis Maddox, a massage therapist with over 18 years of experience. We had the pleasure of sitting down with her to learn more about her journey, her passion for healing, and the story behind how she’s built her career here on the Central Coast.

What inspired you to start your local business here on California’s Central Coast, and what makes this community the right place for your story?

I have always loved helping people. Ever since I was about 8 years old, I wanted to help as many people as I could. So, I wanted to come on here so I can venture out of my town to help more people.

For locals and visitors discovering you for the first time, what should they know about your business?

I’m a traveling Massage Therapist. Been a massage therapist for 18 years now. I go to people’s homes to massage them.

What do you feel sets your business apart, and how do you hope it adds to the local business culture of the Central Coast?

I’m happy to help the ones in need. To help people get out of pain and stress from everyday living. Been doing this a long time. So, I have lots of experience in my field.

When you think about living and working on California’s Central Coast, what do you appreciate most about this region and its people?

I love where I live. But I also love to go adventure out to the beach and the mountains. It’s always good to get out of your head and meet new people. And see something new.

We love highlighting the people behind the scenes who make a difference. Who has supported, inspired, or encouraged you along the way that you’d like to recognize?

My whole family has supported me with my career. And I’m thankful for that. I can’t just pick one person. They all been my Inspired to helping me.
